This Sunday will mark an unexpected event…. the Washington Redskins are in the PLAYOFFS! Whether you are a die hard Washington Redskins fan or just jumping on the bandwagon, watching the game this Sunday night will be a must for many of us at Lakeside Apartments. We are fortunate at Lakeside Apartments to have several options nearby that are guaranteed to have a great crowd for the NFC wild card game and also have game day specials. So, throw on all the burgundy and gold you have and help cheer on your team at one of the following establishments.
Right up the road from us is Velocity Five and Glory Days Grill. Both locations have several tv’s and will be offering great prices on drinks during the game. Head a little further north and discover Bob O’s Restaurant and Bar. Do not let the fact that it is inside the Holiday Inn deter you. With its friendly staff, drink and food specials during the game, you’ll be among several fans cheering on Washington. In the mood for seafood and football? Find your spot for the big game at The Backyard Grill Restaurant where they will have drink and food specials all day plus it’s their seafood night from 4-9p.m. Pull up a seat in front of one of the several tv’s at The Bungalow and check out their special football menu they will have going on all day. Love Dogfish Head beer? Dogfish will be having $7 wings and nachos plus happy hour drink specials starting at 4p.m this Sunday. Get fueled up with an all-you-can-eat brunch at Primetime Sports Bar and stay to watch the game on one of their 70 flat screen tv’s or 4 jumbotrons.
Just remember…wherever you end up on Sunday to have fun, be safe and enjoy the moment because you just never know when the Redskins will make it to the playoffs again. #HTTR!
