Looking for a fun way to spend your St. Paddy’s Day? There are plenty of local events to check out near Lakeside Apartments! Here are a few ideas.
1. Raise a pint of Guinness: Pop into one of Fairfax County’s Irish pubs and raise a glass to St. Paddy’s Day. Many pubs will be hosting special events and discounts in honor of the holiday. For example, Ireland’s Four Provinces in Falls Church will be hosting a special Irish sing-a-long on March 8th and PJ Skidoo’s will serve up beef stew and green beer on March 17th.
2. Do a little jig. The Chieftains have earned multiple Emmy awards for their unique brand of contemporary Irish music, and they’re playing a special local show in honor of St. Paddy’s Day! It’s happening at the George Mason University Center for the Arts on March 19th—and dancing to the music is highly encouraged.
3. Go for the green. Looking for a more active way to celebrate the holiday? On Sunday, March 15th, the Lucky Leprechaun 5K returns to Reston Town Center. Sign up to spring (or jog or stroll) through Reston all decked out in your greenest gear.
