Our community boasts a thriving local art scene, and it’s on full display every month at the Workhouse Arts Center’s 2nd Saturday Art Walk. From 6 to 9 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month (which falls on April 9th this month), the indoor/outdoor space invites the public to come and be immersed in locally made works of art. Come by to explore seven unique (and historic) studio buildings where more than 100 up-and-coming and established artists work every day. Most of them will be on hand to walk you through their creative process and show off some of their latest masterpieces. Of course, everything you see is for sale, so when you see a piece you like, snap it up—there’s no guarantee you’ll get another chance with these one-of-a-kind pieces! With live music and light refreshments serving as the backdrop for the evening, it’s bound to be a fun night out this month and every month!
