If you love The Secret Garden Cafe in Occoquan, you’re going to be a huge fan of Battle Street Bistro. It’s a sister restaurant to the aforementioned eatery, and it just opened in Manassas. It features a few of the same favorite French dishes as The Secret Garden but with a broad menu of other options. Something that every dish has in common? It’s made from scratch, and served by a friendly team.
Stop in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner to savor the elevated French fare. In the morning, servers pour cups of coffee and freshly squeezed OJ to accompany bites like the classic quiche Lorraine. It’s stuffed with bacon, gruyere cheese, onions, and tomatoes, all tucked inside of a dense potato crust. The French toast Suzette is a much sweeter option, a variety of French toast that features house-made challah with candied orange cardamom butter and orange-infused caramel. For dinner, enjoy a larger entree like the steak frites, featuring New York strip steak smothered with bearnaise and served with hand-cut fries, or the tuna steak dressed in ginger-miso sauce.
