If you and your friends are looking for a fun (and free) happy hour activity this summer, look no further! The Summerfest: Cornhole Series at Tysons Corner Center has returned for the season for multiple dates throughout July and August. It’s held on Tuesday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. on a biweekly basis now through August 16th.
DC Fray, a local event organizer, has teamed up with Tysons Corner Center to bring this free community event to the open space in the middle of the sprawling mall. Grab a bite to eat or a drink at one of the surrounding restaurants, or indulge in a bit of retail therapy before you come to the patio area at 6 p.m. Make sure you RSVP online in advance since only 16 pairs can participate each time, and the spots do tend to fill up! The event organizers provide everything you need for fun, tournament-style doubles cornhole, including the boards and the bags. Just bring yourself and your sense of sportsmanship! Winners earn awesome prizes from local businesses.
